Another spare time hobby is my art. I have been a keen painter from a young age mainly concentrating on Gouache paint but I am occasionally known to play around with other media. Below is a selection of my recent work. I do not have time to take on regular commissions but I can from time to time. If you are interested in my work please contact me.
I have recently been working on a large unsused canvas. It is taking a while as I am spending an hour here and an hour there on it but it is slowly progressing.
This is the most recent photo I have taken but it has progressed further beyond this now covering far more of the canvas. The painting is based on a photo I took of Silsbury Hill ridden by Andrew Nicholson at Burghley 2007.
This is the latest update of the painting (Feb ‘10) Unfortunately I haven’t had much chance to sit down and paint in a while so there hasn’t been much progression. Also apologies for quality of image, I need to get my good camera out to take a decent photo!
